Education

 

Marlène graduated from the University of Lausanne in Switzerland and holds a master degree in Immunology. Her experiences as Researcher and R&D Licensing project manager have given her a thorough understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the stakes it involves.

Working now as Business Development Director at BlueReg allows Marlène not only to keep operating in an international environment but also to approach things from a different perspective; by using her know-how to actively contribute to the success of customers’ projects.

 

 

 

About Marlène

 

Marlène is a scientist with business development skills. Over the last 15 years, she has acquired an extensive knowledge of the pharma industry and the drug development process of prescription and cosmetic products. She is able to capture the business value of a given asset taking into account both the scientific and the business potential.

From a scientific standpoint, she understands challenges that companies may encounter during development (pharmaceutical, toxicological, benefit/risk ratio, regulatory…) but also to quickly understand key points that may impact business such as geoscopes, split indication, IP, pricing, life cycle managment…).

Background/Past experience

 

Prior to joining BlueReg, Marlène worked for 15 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry at Nestlé Skin Health (Galderma).

She started her career as Research associate and then as Research Team Leader in the Immunolgy departement. After 12 years dedicated to the early drug discovery process, she decided to change position and get closer to the business and joined the business development team as R&D licensing project manager.

In this cross-disciplinary function, her role was to scout for innovations and evaluate their scientific potential to contribute to Nestle skin Health growth.

Marlène is Business Development Director and her role is to contribute to BlueReg extension in Europe and beyond.

In this function, she will build and maintain trusted business relationships and provide clients with the best services.
